Monday Notes – Finding My Style in the Chaos ✈️

Last week was one of those weeks that tested every bit of balance I try so hard to keep. Back-to-back flights, long duty days, and a handful of delayed slots that threw my carefully built schedule completely off.

When that happens, it’s not just work that gets affected, it’s the ripple effect. The calls to rearrange babysitters, the rush to make school pick-ups, and the quiet guilt that follows when patience runs low after a long day. I hate that feeling. Alice deserves my full attention and calm presence when she runs out of school with that big smile, not the leftover bits of a tired day.

My “style” right now is messy hair from early check-ins, flight bag in one hand and a lunchbox in the other, but also small moments of intention. A slow coffee before the first briefing. A deep breath before pick-up. Choosing softness even when I’m stretched thin.

If you’ve had a week that left you running on empty, remember, you can still show up beautifully. Your pace, your calm, your way of resetting 🫶

Here’s to a new week, with a little more balance, a bit more patience, and maybe a touch of lipstick to remind ourselves that we’ve got this 💪💋
